having hydraulic problem no pressure, no steering no three point. pump is good. have checked unloading valve. only get 500lbs pressure any one have this problem? tractor was working juust fine than parked it a few days than nothing,

That tractor has a closed center system on it. So how do you know the pump is good??? You would need a good stand by pressure to really know. IF you do have good stand by pressure then you can have a high pressure leak in any of the hydraulic functions that would make you lose pressure.

I would still think the more common issue would be the stroke control on the main pump. I am not real familiar with the Oliver system. It differs from JDs some.

It some other function is leaking then it should be getting hot. Run the tractor for a short time and fell the different valves to see if anything is getting hot.

I had my 1755 do that when it got real cold It was frost in the oil so i change the oil and added a bottle of heet gas line antifreeze and never had the problem again.

Heat the hydraulic system up with a salmander heater for a couple of hours, then start the tractor up and try it. If no access to heat, I'd dump several bottles of dry gas into the system and wait a day and see what happens. You say it worked fine and then a few days later nothing. Sounds like you are froze up with moisture in the Hyd. oil. BTDT.

Second thing. Do you have that stupid oil cooler pump on the left side run by the fan belt? Those things get worn and the seal starts leaking they can cause all kinds of hydraulic function problems. BTDT, too. You usually figg'er it out AFTER you spent 20 hours checking everything else.

thank you for replies, i should have added this happened in heated shop. the pump is around three years old, i took it apart did not c anything wrong no sings of wear.can tell its trying,it has 600lbs of pres. i added washers to high pres side to get that.I have unhooked any extra implements and checked temps with lazer temp gun.the pump gets the warmest. id like to no how to make a flow meter or something that would work simular

remove small line on hydralic pump, slip piece of hose over fitting and to a bucket. start engine at half throttle and see how much oil is pumped out. should be less than a quart in 30 seconds

should add that this is just checking pump leakage no pressure to speak of, i just slip garden hose on fitting

ok today i did take the steel line off pump and no fluid came from that line. then i took the big return steel line off front of unloader valve, pluged reservoir, put hose on and in to bucket some fluid come out till tractor started then just a drip to nothing came out. so that should mean everything is working right up thru unloader valve. but still only like mabe 800lbs pressure and no steering or three point.. what to do ????????

should have some oil come out of small line. take big output line off pump, should have some flow with dead ebgine. start engine, be ready to shut off if a lot of flow. it has happened that NO oil in resivoir or plugged filter. take pio shaft out to see if splines still in good shape at flywheel. try turning shaft with removal bot before pulling shaft.splines in flywheel may be worn

its been awhile, but just letting U no it ended up being the steering motor that went south.found a used one, all is good!
