I was was round baling one hot day and got a whiff of smoke. Smelled like hay burning. Saw a lit of smoke about then. Fortunately I had a 32 oz water bottle with me that hadjust been filled. Now I carry a 2 1/2 gallon pressurized water extinguisher with me. A little soap in the mix makes it "wet" water. Real, real handy. I've used it twice to put out neighbors grass fires.

I really need to get fire extinguishers on all my
equipment

local fire inspector who also certifies fire extinguishers installed fire extinguishers on all the tractors at the cemetery after one burned up. He put a self tapping sheet metal screw through the plastic gas tank on one of the tractors for a bracket mount.

No wonder he is in the fire extinguisher business. I'm sure fire follows him everywhere doing stuff like that.
