o/t found some pictures

was going thrugh the camera to delete some pictures I dont need,and found some a visit I Made to see a friend of mine at the nj shore late this fall,It was a warm fall day 2014

Iwent to see him,havent seen him in years,he has been sick,but is getting better.,He wanted to go check out the beach to see if anyone was catching fish on the surf that day

We walked down to the beach

it was a unseasonably warm day

we didnt have poles,but talked to the guys fisihing,they caught a few sand sharks earlier,but nothing while we were there

we left and drove to the docks in pt pleasnt beach,a little north of seaside hts

Aboat had come in,they caught bluefish,,and striped bass

they caught some nice ones

My friend wanted to go fishing,we were making plans to go,,then his wife got sick,,,we never got to go yet,but did have a nice day checking it out that afternoon,

Larry,

Kinda cool looking at your pictures...almost like looking at some of our own.

My brother in law had a girlfriend in NJ a few years back. While we were there visiting one summer, we took a trip out to the beach and boardwalk there in Seaside Heights and the neighboring towns North and South of there. It was the first time I have ever been able to swim in the Atlantic,(I'm in my mid 40's) and our children had a blast playing there.

Very cool seeing your pictures, it brought back a lot of mostly forgotten memories. Thank you...

Larry, my wife and daughter caught a couple fish off the shore but no keepers. I didn't go with them on the fishing trip but did go with them in 2012 and stayed in Beach Haven. Always had a good time at the beach. We all climbed the Barnegate lighthouse what a view. Greg

Larry, I spent 3 1/2 years at Dover AFB and spent a lot of time on the beaches and on the water. Had good friends who were commercial fishermen. Spent a lot of hours on an open gunwhale whale boat pulling in the sea bass with haw seine nets. Summer time he operated a 40 foot party boat out of Indian River inlet. Spent a few days with them on that boat.

I was surf casting one morning and when I cast out waiting for my lure to hit the water. Lure never hit the water and my pole was almost pulled out of my hands. A sea gull had grabbed the lure and hooked himself pretty good. I reeled it in and removed the hook. He was not very happy and stood beside me cursing me for 10 minutes till he finally flew away.

Could write a page about my experiences on the beaches and on the water. Spent many days at Rehoboth Beach and Lewes Beach.

sweet feet, yes a baby shark. On our honeymoon in 2000 she wanted to go deep sea fishing off Cape Cod. The sea was a little rough for her but I caught a bluefish while she was turning green! Greg
