1923 Fordson F industrial with Hendon wheels and leaf springs on front axle. The driver is Fred Chennels the company tractor demonstrator; and the man standing behind is Reginald Tildesley the dealership owner

Industrial with front guard and rear winch - see the huge traction strakes on the rear wheels

Agricultural mode N with winch. The timber arch was one of the implements manufacturered by Tildesleys

The timber arch. In the company archives I have the blue print drawings and the letter granting a patent on the design.

I've followed your previous posts, thank you for contributing these photos and history to this forum for us to see !!! Those service trucks, shops and such were very interesting as is the history you provided about the dealer and what you retained to publish a book, be great to find a copy of it. We sold Ford and had a shop that was built in the 30's and expanded in 1947.

That arch is exactly what I need for towing logs in, looks simple in design and I'd love to see the fabrication drawings for it. That is one simple implement or tool that appears to not be in any kind of production, like other implements so commonly found today.

Wizzo, you send in great photos.
How far do you live from Snowdona?
There is a lady by the name of Joesphine, Roberts that has articles in the Farm Collector magazine which is published every month.

Snowdonia is 100 miles north of me - Mount Snowdon is highest mountain in Wales - sheep farming country

Jo Roberts has been writing for several years in Tractor magazine published over here. Nice girl who before she had children drove her 1958 Massey Ferguson diesel tractor around Wales, camping out in a tent at nights, and wrote her story in magazine.

That arch looks well built; however, most I have seen have a wider stance and the lift cable is located ahead of the wheels so as to add weight to the tongue.
Love all your pictures by the way! Thanks.
