Thinking of up grading from a agco st30 hydro to a new boomer35. I was a hour late on the 35 hydro thay have a 35 gear drive for the same money. Every 16 months we use it a lot for loader work to clean out chicken houses. Will the gear drive hold up? Or will I hate it? Any thoughts or comments will be great thanks.

The only tractor I have ever bought new was a boomer TC48D with a clutch and the shuttle shift forward to reverse. It
is 7 years old and has done well. It is my loader tractor. I did not want hydrostatic because I also do some fieldwork
with it.

(reply to post at 16:18:25 03/25/15) [/te]thanks Ray for you thoughts. Dealers telling me the hydro will dump oil before slipping the hydro. And it will do anything and everything and hold up. True or not ! I have the agco apart with the splines spun on the input shaft on the hydro. So if it's not one thing it's the next. 1400 hrs on meter.

I was ready to get hammered about the agco or boomer! But man it was quite! I don't know if that is good or bad.

punch this into google
is the boomer 35 built by ls tractor
why not buy the LS labeled tractor and get a lot more features and cheaper to boot. or buy a Montana branded one probably get it really cheap
because it cant be the same as a new holland.
