My Daughter and I

Went to my parents' home and picked up a blanket my parents wanted in the assisted living vacility. Just before we left the house I told my daughter I found a box upstairs on the floor with an old dress in it 2 weeks ago. After we looked at it a bit we found out it was my grandmother's 101 year old wedding dress with wedding cards. The house use to belong to my grandparents and gave it to my dad when he and mom got married so many of my grandparents' belongings stayed in the old farm house.

VERY NICE picture John! Make sure they are labeled if they are not already. Someday someone will wonder who they are.
 
Wow, your grandmother was a beautiful woman, and your grandad was a good looking dude also. Did you inherit any of their good looks?? Smile

Here is a picture of my Grandmother when she was a teenager and one of my grandfather when he was also a teen ager. She was a very pretty girl. Not sure what age for sure. Then the picture and three of their four sons the evening when my grandparents celebrated their 45th weeding anniversary. My dad is in the middle behind them.

Yes I have been marking pictures as I scan them. I have 800+ photos on our laptop now and lots more to scan. It's a drawn out project.

Yep. If you know who it is and its not labeled already label it already. I've got a bunch of family pictures and nobody left to tell who is in them. Nice pix

Wow, there's no mistaking you three 'boys' are brothers. LOL. Old pictures are always interesting.
