I've got a ford 2600 that I've hoad for a while now and was thinking about buying a one row corn picker or snapper to go behind it. Has anyone else used these tractors for this. What's your experience with these tractors in general. Thanks

Others here can probably tell you how much horsepower a picker like that would require.
Your 2600 develops about 33 HP at the pto.
They are very good, small tractors.

Pickers take very little power. Your limits will be traction (in mud or snow) and weight (to maintain control on hills). The 2600 is s good, solid tractor that will give you many years of service with routine maintenance.

I've had a diesel 2600 for yrs........there could not be a better tractor in this horsepower range. Very handy, and super strong for it's size.
