Now That's a Load of HAY !!

Saw his brother with the next load.

I have seen loads like that in China many times all though not hay and on three wheel tricycles to boot. In Puerto Rico we joked that they used the overpasses to trim loaded the sugar cane trucks.

That looks like Afghanistan. I have seen many similar loads to that on the roads the during convoys. It is amazing some of the things you see over there. If I can find my pictures I will try and download some in the next few days. Makes you wonder how they keep from killing themselves every time you see something like that.

Got to love physics. The weight of the hay above each hangover is held in place by the load above the bales on the other inside end. As long as there is more or equal weight above the inside end. it won't fall off (unless in the case of hay bales a few strings break)

I scared someone out of a hay mow that way. Couple horse people bought some hay from us. They couldn't get any hands to help unload, so we did. One of my brothers on the wagon worked to fast and shoved one of them off. Another tried helping in the mow, with me and another brother.

There was some hay in the mow already, piled at a heavy taper in. After only less then a third of the load they left us we scared/forced them out. I was almost 2 bales the long way out from were the older hay was(back to where the edge of the mow was), and going straight up and out some still. This is 15-20ft in the air, FYI.
