Well on my 77 I will need a full rebuild kit agco dealer priced at 900 plus more work I'll need done so I've decided to stop this project for now and slowly buy the parts I'll need for a matter of time and in the meantime buy a running 77 you guys have any tips for storing the engine and all the parts for long term? The block is in the tractor

Spray everything with white lithium grease until its covered. Put the pan on, set the head on it, make sure no critters can get into the pan or coolant passages. If you clean the parts properly for a rebuild, the grease will be no problem. Pressure wash it off first then do a final good clean up when its go time.

This site has overhaul kits listed for an Oliver 77. They list the over bore as 3 9/16. That may be the only size available today.
