McHales are my ex-employers, spend 3 1/2 years in R&D with them after leaving University. If you are the same WIZZO as on BFF then we have mailed before. You may remember I worked for Dowdeswells on my placement year and was also looking for history on a Case 4690 I have.

That's pretty cool. There are a few around here that are wrapping haylage. After this wet year there may be more. I saw a video of a non stop McHale baler and wrapper, do you know if they available for sale yet? Not that I could afford one :lol:

here in NH you see very few round bales anymore that are not wrapped. My friends use about half that number of wraps.

All the remaining few Dowdeswell Engineering Co Ltd workers finish on Friday 24th July.

New company Dowdeswell Parts & Service Ltd will continue to operate with 4 in stores & 1 service. Wearing plough parts are still being manufactured by George Dyke Ltd which is owned by the Dowdeswell family.
