I caught a quick blurb about this on the news. Sad news, 14 year old girls clothes got caught in the PTO shaft.

Randy,
I was thinking the same thing. I dont recall any Amish in the area back then.
Use to date a girl from right near there, but thats been quite a few years.

Tragic nonetheless.

So sad. We had a belt driven pto attachment for our old wheel horse tractor, it would slip if you had too many bales on the elevator. Still always stayed away from the pto.

At that time in my life I had a one track mind, chasing a girl.
Im sure the Amish were around there back in the 1980s. I was just blind then.

Very sad, indeed! May She Rest In Peace.

That is somewhat of a grim play on words. The poor girl is resting in pieces after being wrapped in a pto. We all know you intended no harm or disrespect.
And people here still get hissy when reminded after a picture of their tractor or equipment shows the shields missing.
