I have a beautiful 10 acre field of Orchard Grass that i overseeded and did not mow last cutting as a result. Grass is 6-8 inches tall and beautiful with good germination of overseeding--what will winter do to it?

Which winter and where do you live. Most winters probably won't do anything to orchard grass. Sometimes we get an odd winter that does strange things to lots of growing plants.

Don't worry about it. Maybe give a shot of NPK, but it should overwinter very well, then fertilize it in the spring. It will produce very well next year.....
