This may be a dumb question but is a 9" wide rim the correct size for a 9.5L-15 three rib tire?

According to the Tire and Rim Association handbook, 8 inch is the correct rim width for a 9.5L-15 tire. The 11L-15 can go with either an 8 or 10 inch.
