NH 1037 Bale wagon

I have a 1037 bale wagon that worked perfectly until this year. On the 4th tier from first table to second table pump stalls when 3 bales go to second table. Same on 5th tier. Stop the PTO and let first table leak down a few inches and its good to go.
I've adjusted linkage but to no avail.
I did trade balers from NH 565 to NH 570?
I do not want to damage pump--could relief valve be bad or other thoughts?

from your description I would think maybe some air is getting into the line or valve. When you stop pto and oil leaks down it is eliminating the air or maybe just picking up more oil to fill the space. Does you new baler make heavier bales than the old one? Cound be why you didn't notice it until this year. I don't know how many tiers the 1037 stacks, are the 4th and 5th ones the last ones? I have a NH service manual but it doesn't include the 1037. Since it is a 3 bale wide stacker perhaps the 1033 would be similar. If that is the case if you send me an email I could send you the pages that apply to it.

1037 is a newer/improved version of the 1033.7 tiers high. Holds 105 bales. Are the fourth(or fifth) tiers being (auto)tied? That may be a factor.

Is the first table valve being tripped and returning like it should? My guess is the first table return trip is out of adjustment. As you put more bales on the second table, the resistance on the first table increases as it pushes all the other bales and it's not rising quite high enough to trip the table return. When they first table goes up far enough, it resets the valve and allows the table to go back down. If the table doesn't quite go far enough the valve is stuck open and will stop all other hydraulic functions, since it's a higher priority than others. I doubt the pump is actually stalling. I think that would be obvious, and something would break.
