Well, I did my part this Christmas to help you cattlemen: Served Prime Rib to the family, 18 lb full roast, around $160 ($9/lb), cooked rare to medium rare. Butcher cuts the bones and reties it back together. Saves work at carving time. Dogs got the bones, still a lot of meat on them, picked clean in about 5 minutes :lol:
 
My employer took us out for prime rib a few days before Christmas.
The restaurant cook said it was the highest price ever he had paid for prime rib. It hit the spot.
 

Thanks, we need all the help we can get. Our family usually has at least a good beef roast for the holidays. We prefer it to turkey and ham.
