I'd be working at a long arms length from that set up.
I remember when Dad got his first loader on a Farmall H. He lifted up the back of my brothers Oldsmobile with it so he could change a tire. A hose blew out. That thing came down in a hurry!

Yes, nice tractors. I have a 175 diesel that has the exhaust stack on the right side. I see the stack is on the left side on your 165. Is it a Continental gas engine by chance or did Perkins do a switch between models.

the ford is a newholland t4020 64 hp tractor the one beside it you cant see is the kubota with the grapple i had on last night.and yes your right a hose could blow anytime but i had blocks under it.

That's right. Years ago I got home from work at about 11:00 one Friday night and just sat down to dinner. As I was eating, my sister told me that she was out mowing with the AC-B the day or two before, and it walked out of one of the rears. It was my fault, I had noticed the knocking around that it was loose, but didn't fix it. It walked out of the rim and tire, and luckily she wasn't hurt, but she was scared that I might be upset. Nope, I just finished eating, then grabbed a flashlight and went to take a look. No biggie, I went into a barn and fired up the 4520 Deere and went out there and picked the little B up, carried it into the barn, set it down, and fixed it the next day. No big deal.

Thanks for the information. I don't know much about Masseys. The 175 I have sits in the barn waiting for a rebuild. The only part of it that is in good shape is the Perkins. If the starter will growl it over it will start.

Rick - have you had problems with the multi-power? I know they were supposed be good tractors. The farmer I worked for had a 150 when I was a kid. But I wonder if the MP is problematic now that those machines are over 40 yrs old. I saw a beautiful 180 diesel sell at auction for $2,900 last fall - I couldn't believe it. I think it was too big for the hobby guys like me and too small for real farmers these days. I never even checked it over before hand - figured it would go for 5 or 6K. I would have bought it at that price if I had been prepared.
