feels like i have sand in my eyes

maybe some of you have done this ,?,,couple a days ago , mite a busted a blood vessel in my eyes I reached down to pik up my empty trailer and hook up to the tractor , aint tooo heavy , aint too lite ,neither. ,. with all the cold weather , maybe its the heavy clothes bunchin too tite ,,around this 250 lbs of wandering muscle . maybe 59 aint as young as it used to be . ,, as I strained bent over on the hitch I felt sumthin tinge behind my eyes ,. no real pain , except my eyes now feel;like they are flash burned from weldin like sand in my eyes ,,. I see well enuf , nearly as blind as I always have been , . I have not told my sara ,yet , maybe gonna have to see a Dr, 1st of week ,. just wonder if anyone else ever had that ..
 
I would see an eye doctor as soon as you can. They may be able to see in your eye more than a regular doctor. Not worth taking a chance with it.
 
we are all closed up with snow here in Louisville area , no one movin , lest they have to ,..,,. and I am jus sitin in the chair kinda relaxin , takin stock .. and thinkin well I need to pik this thorn out of my thumb ,and I seem to have this minor eye condition too ,.
 
Common injury in prison gyms. Guys lift too heavy and detach their retina. I am not saying that is what happened but get it checked out. You can have a brain issue that is pressing on your sight functions.
 
have somebody look at your eyes while you're looking around - a popped vessel is usually pretty obvious with red spot.

Big thing for something with your eyes is infection. You don't want your cornea's getting infected. Any unpleasant feeling like that is your body saying "something aint right in here".

Doesn't mean it's the end of the world, and probably something that'll self correct, but you always want to put the odds in your favor when you can. Especially with a valuable asset like your eyes!
 
Like others have said, see the eye doc when you can. Resting is good. I was picking up rocks. Then I saw black lines in my right eye. Before I got home I could not see out of that eye. I was freeking out. I contacted my eye doctor, and he told me to come right in. In about a month it cleared up. I guess a blood vessel broke. Stan
 
I had several burst in October but didn't realize it at the time. Kept thinking I needed new glasses and my rifle scope was getting bad. Closed my good eye while watching football one day and couldn't read the numbers on the jerseys. Went to eye doctor and he sent me to the big dog in Cincinnati. I'm getting a series of four shots in my eye one month apart , I have taken two of them . My vision has gotten better by two lines on the eye chart . He told me if I had waited three months it wouldn't have got better.
 
Please see an eye Dr just as soon as you can. Make sure when you call you let the receptionist know what has happened. I hope it is nothing serious but take your vision very serious. Thank you.
