fox farm and road machinery

I'm trying to identify what engine in a debris/vacuum made by Fox Farm and Road Machinery a division of Fox Farm Equipment. ID plate is missing but I think is a continental 4cyl gas OHV not a flathead engine.Any help would be nice. All I find is the division had a lawsuit and went broke.

Fox used a number of different engines in choppers- LeRoi in early pull type choppers, later continental, Detroit and Perkins in Self Propelleds.

this is not from the Fox farm equipment line they had a Road Machinery Division. This machine is a vacuum/blower that would clean leaves that a county or city crew would use. Guessing it was made in the late 60s or 70s?

Topknot, welcome to the YT forums! On these forums we try to be as civil as possible. I'm not sure if it was your intention at all to "flame" coonie for not giving you a precise answer to your question. I read his reply as just pointing out that a Continetal engine is a possible brand of the engine in your machine. I believe he meant that there may have been cross division use of engine vendors by Fox. He was just adding the info to the thread that he knew. I can verify that Continental, Le Roi and Detroit were used in Fox choppers, but I also have no idea about the "road machinery division" equipment. There is a YT forum for crawlers, dozers etc. you might try throwing a post up down there.

I hope nobody was offended that was not my intention, I was pointing out that it was not a chopper or farm equipment. I never heard of "Fox Farm and Road Machinery" either, maybe someone in the Minnesota/Wisconsin area might have, it also has Koehring on the tag as well. Thanks for the help
