Farmal h tractor transmission problem

I have a farmal h tractor. Not sure what year it is.the only gear it will move in is road gear.it goes in to all the gears but it won't move.i took the shifter out and had the local shop build the bottom of the shifter back up and it still just moves in road gear.we took the seat deck off Cuz I thought the shifter rail was broken and everything is in good shape. If anyone has an idea on what it could be pleased let me know.thanks

Does it have a 9 speed conversion? I'm not up to date on 9 speed outfits, so that's just a guess on my part.

If you have the top cover off, just put it in some gear other than fifth , turn engine over and see what turn in transmission. Probably sheared key off on constant mesh (front bottom gear) or broke the lower shaft.
