BIG tractor auction comming up.

A big mostly antique with some modern and a lot of inbetween tractors comming up July 30 at Willshire, Ohio. Bill Gamble estate and he was the person that started the Oliver colectors. Also a personal friend of mine. Bill passed away a couple of years ago after being in a home for some time from a stroke. I did not realize he had neer this amount of stuff.

Looks like rrlund needs to go to that auction.

Sure like that rusty old Co-op tractor sitting out by a field.
 
Going to be more and more of these BIG auctions. The older fellows that held onto this stuff for years are leaving us. They can't take it with them either. Like the song goes--never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch--. I wonder how much these big lots of tractors flooding the market will be dropping prices ? I think this is part of why we have seen it drop for the last few years.

I hear you, I would like to look at the four wheeled Silver Kings and the Gibson but me and the wife agreed that we need a gooseneck trailer first to go to shows with what we already have. This years project money is going on the house...
 
You need to attend some auctions I've bought some real bargains in older tractors the last couple years,not as much demand from collectors and scrap is way down
so you're not competing with the scrap guys.
