8:10 this morning, 33 hours! That is by far the longest outage we have ever experienced. Our noisy little Coleman 2500 did the trick,
I took load readings on each appliance so I would not overload it. I was surprised that the fridge and freezer together were less
than 4a, but I suppose when the fridge is defrosting it uses more. I did not run the generator steady, had it off for 6 hours
overnight.

You may know that starting load of a motor is much greater than running load. With a generator that small I would try not to start more than one appliance at a time.
Happy for you, Roy

33 hours eh? Many times we have measured our outages in days, not hours but that that was years ago.
For years we got along fine with a 3250 watt generator and extension cords. Ran everything but the A/C but we had gas hot water and stove.

I moved here eight years ago. The first two years outages were common. Really got sick of it so I bought a 14k generator. Ended all my outage problems. Haven't had an outage since.

I have a short extension cord with the wires separated so I can use it. The sewer lift pump drew over 12a for awhile, made the
generator snort!
