Itlooks like an old picture from years ago,,but I just took it this morning
The wagon is loaded with ear corn. Hope SweetFeet sees it ,she likes old buildings..

That old girl has seen better days for sure... but yes, I love pics of old dilapidated buildings about as much old rust in the weeds.

Probably can't fall clear over, building beside it will hold it up and it looks better than a shredded blue tarp.

You don't see that many old wagons with ear corn nowadays, nice picture. Not that many years ago before it (like most) closed down, the local elevator still had those lift up chains and support to raise the front ends of small trucks or wagons to unload the corn, and they still ground corn and placed in 100 lb sacks by the dock for farmers to load.

I scooped on a load per week just like that out of one of our corn cribs ahead of the portable feed grinder that came around every week. Pop poured a few sacks of soybean meal on it and scooped it back through Hugh McCaferty's grinder when he came. The load sat in a barn shed a lot like the one in the picture but 50+ years ago. gm
