Drove down to Odessa from Mi. on Sunday. Saw them harvesting cotton......long trip over 3500 miles.....round trip.............

If you go through Muleshoe on the way back give a shout we can have a cup of coffee. I am practically straight north of Odessa on 214. Lots.of cotton down that way. A lot was grown around this year. Corn had kind of taken over for a few years.

I'm driving past Odessa around the 5th of January. Do you think they will still be harvesting cotton. Never seen that and I would sure like to.

They may be but most likely they will be
finished. Depends on the weather. They will
still be ginning though.

That's a long trip, wouldn't a cotton picking youtube work for you? Anyway I went through Odessa this spring and I didn't see anything but desert and oil wells. It's hard to imagine any crop being grown there.
