your experience steiner exhaust manifolds

I got one for my AC G and never used it. Very disappointed. The flange was too thick and would not allow the throttle rod to line up with the governor. I was expecting a reproduction but it had STEINER cast in 1 inch high letters across the face. Totally POed. To top it off I didn't get to sending it back in time so I'm stuck with it.

Also bought a key switch for my A, another reproduction, not even close.

I have bought several items from Steiner, some OK, and some not at all OK. Got to watch what you order.

I purchased a exhaust manifold for a 1943 Farmall H. It fit fine. I have purchased many parts from them over the last several years for 4 different tractor brands and all have been very good parts.

I bought one for the Continental 260 engine.
Fit well and seems to be good quality for a knock off.

Not had any problems with Stiener.

From what I've seen, the manifold is the same overseas-manufactured "will fit" that you can buy from any of dozens of sources, including this site. If you're shopping purely on price, I believe you can do better, but Steiners has good service, and nice hats, so it's worth paying a little more.

You might want to consider supporting this site, as parts sales do help to fund the operation of this site.
