Speaking of OLD - What Ever Happened To....

I use to read (and still do) his posts regarding his Farmalls, New Holland 68 and haying.

What ever happened to him - haven't seen a post in years.

Well it has been in the neighbor hood of a month. He got fed up with trash talking from someone and I believe that did it for his tollerance. I (and many others) relaay like him, and his input to the forum. Jim

I miss seeing his post, he is very knowledgeable and a plain man.Usually knows what he is talking about. He's been there and done that in most cases. As the old saying goes he's forgotten more than most people ever knew.Just holding up for Rich,he's a genuine guy.Come on back Rich I'll stand up for you.

I'm new here so don't really know any of you. That said, I can understand how trash talk and BS gets old, as well as being ridiculed, put down, threatened, etc. Even though it doesn't happen with me, I just simply don't want to put up with those kinds of people. Am very much hoping this forum will be a bit better, especially as it more closely relates to my lifestyle.

I know I've read a couple of his recent posts/responses on another site I turned him on to recently. In fact it's the main reason I haven't been here as much as I used to be.

The other site is firearm related, and we're a bit more free to say what we think in regard to politics, etc, than we are on here. In fact we have a section just for discussion of politics, current news, our rights, and the like.

I know I've posted a few things on here from that site just to give others a heads up, or a link giving them the ability to speak on our rights, and made the posts in an apolitical manner only to find them deleted.

While I well understand the site rules, and the owners wishes, as that applies on the other site just as it does here, I have yet to understand why an apolitical post doing nothing but providing a link for others to use is considered wrong.

While I love old machinery, and will always be a participant on this site, I love my rights better......To me, it's much more fun handing around somewhere where I don't feel the need to walk on egg shells, and be PC, on the internet, when I don't do that in real life.
