The big complaint with the Agco Parts Book site has been that lack of ability to get price and availability on it. The new Agco dealer has a place on their website that remedies that. They gave me a username and password where I can get price and availability then order them online if they aren't in stock. Gives me price each, total on parts, cost of shipping and grand total. That sure closes up a big hole in Agco's parts site flaw.

AGCO site always could price your parts BUT you need a dealer to set you up with a user name and password. None of the AGCO dealers around me will bother to give you the information. I found out why one dealer does not. He adds an additional markup to the parts.

I was in there last fall looking for a wiper arm for a Year-A-Round
cab. The guy told me they can only get AGCO specific parts.
Disappointing since they're the closest equipment dealer to me.
Local car parts store looked it up in a book and had it next day.

I've had a username and password for Agcopartsbook for a while now. It doesn't do anything any different when I log in than it does when I enter as a guest. Only thing it lets me do is order through the dealer. Doesn't give me price or availability.

Geez,I don't know. I never tried, but when I first started doing business with them,Mike told me he could get parts for most anything through aftermarket suppliers.

I don't know Mike personally, it was my first time in there.
I talked to a younger guy that greeted me in the sales area.
Maybe he just wasn't interested in selling a small part.

They've bent over backwards for me. Tom called tech support for a bearing one time because the number I had wasn't coming up. They told him we needed to add an H to the front of it. He did and got it coming.
