DOD, Today. Not bad do you think? 9 years four months. Had to replace it to mow the yard with the Jubilee

How old is your tractor battery?

My Super C has one about 6-7 years old, think the one it replaced was about 11, both Farm/Fleet batts. Six volts.

I have a F3060 Kubota diesel mower that I purchased new in March 1999 , stil have the original Battery.

Not bad ! I am.a little ticked tonight with the battery in my 108 Cub cadet. Its only a year and a half old and is junk. Took it out for the winter and put the charger on it a few times. Put it back in tractor and hooked up charger. Charger showed full charge. We I'll crank about 5 seconds without the charger hooked up. Napa lawn and garden battery. I wish it would hold a little bit of a charge. I only use the tractor for pulling my small lawn trailer. Most other batteries I average 5-7 years or so!

OEM battery in my Branson 6530 was at 10 years this year and decided time to give it a rest. Have 10 years on 2 of my DR no leak/sealed lead acid and still going strong. Don't know what kind of technology is in them. They can be mailed and appear to be glued together with no access nor vent port. Other Fords, don't remember but been awhile. Silverado is at 6 and going strong.

my cat loader has 2 diehard gold battery's that are going on 14 years old--use a trickle charger on them thru the winter months

Just bought a battery to replace the Deka battery for my JD lx188 mower date was may 2001. Tried to save it just wouldn't hold a charge over 10.3v. Went with an exide from Rural king for $21 couldn't complain.

Broke my heart when the battery on our 2003 Dodge Durango bit the dust last month and the Durango had a Build date of Sept 23 2002 and god only knows how long that battery sat before being installed .

A quick count off the top of my head adds up to 21 batteries scattered around the farm in various vehicles but it seems like I don't very often buy a battery. I couldn't accurately tell you how old the oldest battery on the farm is but it seems like they hold out pretty well.
