We put a 22" led light bar on the roll bar of our loader tractor and it lights the yard in front of it like a ball field. Very pleased with the lighting we got for not very much money.

We ordered it online here, was $60

Gotta love LEDs. Run cooler than old bulbs, can be brighter, wider range of colors, and draw less current. Nice setup!

LED's are one piece of technology I have no problem embracing.

For some of the best, and cheapest, LED lighting check out Lighting Ever. I was looking for something awhile back to allow me to service equipment after hours. Unfortunately that particular job didn't pan out, but I found the site while looking for what I needed. I wound up with two 120V AC, 3700 lumen flood lights that I mounted to a frame to hand from the boom tip on my crane. The first time I turned them on after dark, the amount of light was amazing.

That said, they have very little 12V DC stuff, but when you can set a single 23,800 lumen light at the edge of a field, and light up the whole thing.....who needs tractor lights.....LOL

If you check out the site, and decide to order anything, check for discounts/coupons, etc before ordering. When I got mine I got a first time buyer discount, and got both big lights, and two sets of 12V strip lights for inside the bins on my truck, for just a touch over $100 with shipping.

I research those to put on my zero turn some of the reviews were bad. I don't put much faith in a few bad reviews but did not think it could stand the vibration/bouncing of a ZT.

I do the AC work for the local Bota dealer one job paid for the OEM lights with harness and switch I ordered for my ZT we both won :)

Keep us informed good are bad...

Gottta love LED's. So many more Lumens per Watt and far less wasted heat. Its all I have in the RV which saves a ton of stored battery energy use. Next is to replace the entire house with LED lighting. Wayyyyyyyy back when I attended a Lighting Seminar at GE's Nela Park in Cleveland, they were just a pipe dream, back then it was HID lighting and the upcoming Squiggly Fluorescent that was the future lol.

When you order night light bars make sure you do a tiny bit of research. There are two systems of LEDs. Take a look on U-Tube because there are all kinds of reviews. The systems are COB and the other is CREE. The Cree system is far brigter. You will also find there are loads of outfits making them. Also tractor supply sells them too. Bought mine at a car show. Just be aware that some of them will mess up your AM radio reception. Worth every penny for the light you get. Virtually every bulb in my house, changed to 5200 or 6000 K color. Nice and bright like daylite.

We've already replaced most of the lights in the house with LED's. Sam's has 6 LED 60 watt equivalent on a card for $8.88. These are brighter than CFL's, last longer and come on instantly at any temperature.

i can't get CFL bulbs to last at all. they claim they last longer but most of the ones we've had dont last as long as a standard bulb.

now that LED's are coming down a bit we're starting to get a few. especially for the ones that the wife and kids tend to leave on all the time.... wait... that's all the lights.

That looks great. Probably overkill for what I would want for tractor lighting.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a smaller/individual LED headlamp replacement? I think I would just add on a couple of headlights. From this to something newer and brighter:

What do you use for individual brighter headlights?

At my work, we put LED work lights on our feed trailers to replace the old incandescent bulbs that just didn't cut it. Now the guys can see the feed bins and anything the lights point to, plus it's only about 1/3 of the load on alternators/batteries and wire!! I've got a couple we salvaged off of trailers I'm gonna put on my zero turn so I can cut in the dark when I've gotten behind and the dew isn't coming on.

I've thought about putting the lights back on my Ford just for originality's sake.
Does anyone know if there's a retrofit so I can replace the sealed beam bulbs in my Trac To Lites?

I'd like to put in LEDs but my CFLs won't die. We've gotten good life out of them so far.
