Working through some problems with a mower and ran across this tutorial which applies to all spark ignited internal combustion engines. Very interesting. It probably belongs in the garden tractor or better yet "manual start" push mower section but since it applies universally I thought I'd do it here.

How many times have I worn my self out, especially as a youngster having to mow the lawn, down in S. TX. in high humidity, dew wet, two week old grass that you had to lift the front of the mower, push forward, pull back, drop the mower to normal position, push, move forward a step and repeat......... trying to get the lawn mower started, pulling the plug and looking at the fouled tip and not knowing what is wrong.
