OT heading to MO for the week

Truck and boat washed, everything checked over, going to spend a few days at Branson.

Old, will wave when we go by.

We used to go to lake of the ozark, but found table rock is so much cleaner and more to do at Branson.
 
Ya the Lake of the Ozarks was the first man built lake in Missouri and they sure screwed it up big time. Lake homes right on the lake with septic systems so the field lines went right down and into the lake. I could tell you stories of things I have seen here where you can see a pipe sticking out a sea wall and see toilet paper floating out of the line. As for Branson one place you cannot pay me to go is the Silver Dollar city they spent thousands of $$ to stop Missouri C.C. gun laws. But of course now Missouri is Constitutional carry
 
Just got back last week from 5 days in Branson- our fourth time there. Planning to go back in December. Always a good time! Sat at the Dixie Stampede next to a couple from Florida. Next night, in a theater with 600 in attendance, our seats were also right next to theirs, and our cars were adjacent in the parking lot! Nice trip on Table Rock lake on the Branson Belle, too. Got to see more of the area on this trip.
 
My wife and I own a place in Lebanon, near Bennett Spring State Park. It is a short drive to Lake of Ozarks, or go the other direction to Branson. We pick Branson every time.
 
We are headed to Hannibal for a few days. Then if we still have days left, head to Table Rock for a few. My wife works for the school and it starts August 8 here so our summer is short.
 
I've been there one time back in the early 80s. At that time one could shoot a black powder gun while there which I did then when the C.C. law was first introduced they spent a lot of $$ trying to stop it and at first if did not pass but then it went to a vote of the people and it pasted. But even better we now have Constitutional carry so they spent a lot of $$ just to show people there true anti 2nd amendment socialist ideas
