Mounting my 560

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have a problem getting on to the seat of your IH tractors! I am talking about a 560 International! Is there any modifications you guys have come up with? If so I would really like to know about them. Thank you

If it's too high to step up to the running board just get some 1/4x1" strap. Heat and twist it to fit just over the running board and drill holes in both . It makes a sturdy step that won't break for you. I can send a picture of the one I made for my Massey 255 that really helped me if you'd like.

I have a Farmall 460 and the older I ghet the harder to get on. Sure would be nice to have a side step like the 656 farmall.

Pitch the fenders in the shed on the wall. And it should be about like an M to get on then. The stupid 2 point hitch doesn't help any for getting on any of them with it.

(quoted from post at 20:44:02 08/19/17) Ever try to get on a John Deere MT?????

Yep! Those are about the worst. We had one when I was growing up. Not sure if I could even get on one today! :D

Never had any trouble with Dad's 560.

the international is not that bad... i think your talking farmall... many of those are a pain to get on including the M.

We use ours for an auger tractor talk about a p.i.t.a between that and ihs levers scattered all over you can't get on or off
