I have had it with the B & S 675 series vert. shaft engine on the 22 Ton Huskee log splitter. Looking to find another engine, hopefully with electric start. Seven years of trouble, now suddenly leaking gas out of carb. area and primer bulb. It has no choke and it has been nothing but trouble every year. Leo

I bought an engine for my Deere ZTR from Small Engine Warehouse in Muncie Indiana this spring. Seemed like a good price and
dropped right in. Order taker seemed to know what he was doing. Ordered on Monday and delivered on Thursday in Central Iowa. I
think it was $65 shipping. 26 HP vertical shaft Kohler.

If like lawn mowers, engine mfgrs put connections in the same place. Mounting dimensions are on a pre stamped 10" diameter circle. Only
thing you need if you change from a single to a V twin are choke and throttle cables as the length needs to be longer. If a single for a
single, I'd think that you would need nothing. ebay has some great deals in new engines at half price. I have 2 BS V twins I bought for my
mowers and things went just as I said.
On your splitter, if you replace with like kind/hp, you probably won't have any problems. Sellers on ebay are open to questions, just look
around the posting and you can ask them for particulars before you make a purchase. Real good folks on there for buying things. I'm over
250 items in the last few years, train layout mainly, and all have been to my satisfaction.
