Hello all,
I just purchased a long 2460dtc that set for a yeat put an injector pump on it re timed it and now number 1 cylinder is not firing changed injector still not firing good compression could this be a stuck intake valve or a bent Rocker arm? Any help is appreciated.

Not a stuck valve if it has compression.

But do check the valve train, could be a bent ex push rod, broken rocker.

Did you bleed the line? Getting fuel to the injector?

We have a 5 cylinder Kubota that had a dead cylinder after pump overhaul. Had a bent connecting rod on number 5. Piston liked about 1/16" coming to top of block, that was enough so that it would not fire. Was that was when we bought it, running on about two cylinders because of a worn injection pump. Not sure what bent the rod-maybe coolant got on top of piston. Do not know history of tractor, but we have put over 1,200 hours on it since then with no problems.
