I'm sure this question has been asked many times. I did a search, but figured I would ask about my particular tractor.
Do I just buy the biggest battery, with the most cranking amps, I can fit on the battery tray?
Anyone have any suggestions? Getting cold here in New England. It won't be long and I'll be plowing snow. I don't want to get caught with a dead battery.

Sounds like a plan.

Also be sure the cables are good, no replacement ends, heavy gauge cables, not automotive type, alternator belt good, tight, alternator clean and free of grass and dust.

Healthy starter.

If it has glow plugs be sure they are working.

Correct oil for cold climate.
