Anybody finding some misplaced Ambition??? LOL

We have been running pretty hard this week. Getting the fertilizer spread and the fall tillage done. Today looks like another good warm Dec. day. You know how rare they are this far north in Dec. I have several things "needing" done today but so far chores are all I have done. Setting on my butt surfing the net filled in the rest of the morning so far. LOL

The Misses took some of the Grand Kids shopping so when she gets back I am sure I will be motivated to get out of the house.

Just a reminder - it's probably better to be gone before they get home than to try a diplomatic exit after they come back.

Ambition is a combination of an able body and an active mind. As we age the mind stays active but the word disable starts creeping in when it comes to the body. To remove the disable feature, measured amounts of Excedrin partnered with copious amounts of caffeine needs to be applied.

High of 55 here today in southern Ohio, not supposed to get above freezing in about a week.

Just sayin.

Fred ( who is hoping to get his second deer today so he's not tempted to come back out in 2 weeks)

Plenty of ambition but the weather won?t cooperate May just have to wait until spring to finish up with fall work

Ambition here is kinda short lived. Ambition as a thought is high but transferring into action is a problem.
Did chores this morning and came in for breakfast. Went back out around 10AM to make room out back to unload a trailer. Worked at that until 2 PM and came in for a bowl of soup and a cup of coffee. Set down in my chair and fell into a deep sleep. Went back out at 4 PM to unload the trailer but instead fiddled with a tractor that has water in the gas somehow. Drain the water out of the sediment bowl and drive it around and it has water in the gas bowl. Backed the tractor so the out let was at the lowest place in the tank and drew out a quart or so. Took it out and after a few hundred feet the gas is cloudy and she is sputtering again. Chore time so I feed the horses and came back in the house and the trailer still needs unloaded. Dark now! I would go out to unload with a flashlight but with the fear of Dixie having the elastrator out when I came in will most likely cause it to stay loaded over night.
