I posted about my trip to visit some collector friends. Posted of a couple of pieces on Talers last night, of a Farmall F20 with a Packard in line 8, and a Shepard Diesel with a Detroit, and a ton of pics on the case forum today. These pics are of misc. pieces. The scouts are diesels. I never knew they made them with a diesel. The road grader had a logo cast into pieces that looked like a circle with J/P inside it.

The Scouts briefly experimented with a diesel engine, I think it was from Nissan? You would think that International, as powerful as they were, could have built it in house.
Anyway, those Scouts are probably setting there because engine replacement parts are next to impossible to source.

That Steyre is a beast. We borrowed a newer Steyre from a neighbor when I was a teenager. I think they made some grey market stuff for Massey.

like the studded snow tires on front of tractor and short wheel bace farmall truck, who put the spare tire up there?

Loren,

All fun stuff to look at.

Really like that old grader.

I've probably said this before... but when I was a kid, our neighbor had one. He and Dad would work together to grade both driveways. The neighbor drove the tractor and dad operated the grader. I always liked watching them work. They did a good job of keeping both driveways free of pot holes and washboards.
