Wishing everyone here and loved ones happy healthy New Years! It's a pretty general wish but a heartfelt one. We all have our struggles by times be it health financial or family related and hoping 2018 is a great year for all.
 
I second the motion and for my hope, I place my faith in the human spirit to listen and respect, and function as a Nation. Jim
 
Right back at you Phillip. Everybody else too. I guess it's getting close enough to the new year now to join in the wishes.

Same back to you. Just another cold 2017 day here. High 0-F. Sounds like no change for the first 2 weeks of 2018. Burrr.
Hoping the frost doesn't get down to my water lines from the well.

For the first time in years, I put a heat lamp in a well pit. It's down below frost line, but if the temp is below zero for several days, one pipe has been known to freeze. Actually it just affects the hydrant by my shop, but when any pipe freezes, I get nervous.
