I have a Goodyear Eagle flat track tire with the marking 27.0x7x19. What does this convert to in modern metric motorcycle tire code? Tried to call Goodyear but got nowhere. The 27.0 does not make sense.

Roughly 180/60R19.

27 is overall height in inches
7 is tire width in inches
19 is rim diameter in inches

7” width is 177.8mm = 180

(Height - Rim Diameter) / 2 gives Sidewall Height.
(27-19)/2 = 4” = 101.6mm

Aspect Ratio is a percentage of Sidewall Height to Tire Width
101.6/177.8 = 57.1% = 60

Rim diameter is rim diameter = 19

That a BIG tire.

Also...

I doubt highly you’ll find a metric tire in that size.

19 inch wheel is usually limited to about 130 width
18 inch wheel to about 150
17 inch wheel to about 160
16 inch wheel to about 180

That style is still available as it fits Yamaha XS650s
