I didn't see your post till this afternoon, how much did it bring? I am a little interested in it, but am really looking for a MF rollover plow, 57 or a 570. Would put a 880 in my Massey collection if it was cheap.

I bid it up to $450 and let it go. I hate to say this but it went to scrap. It had an adjustable hitch that would go wide enough to be on land. It is really a shame because the wear parts are like new on this plow. Just can not save all of the stuff.

How can that pay by going to scrap ? $190 a ton certainly won't be profitable.

Too bad it was so far away - I've been looking for one to put behind my 1755. Around here 5 and 6 bottoms are a dime a dozen, but three and four bottoms are hard to find
Of course with the soils we have around here an auto reset is almost a necessity

Brother wanted a 3-14 fast hitch plow at a sale Saturday. Looked to be in real good shape with depth wheel. He bid it up to 400 dollars and it went for 450.

Darn if I know how he is going to make anything on the deal but he was not stopping bidding. I even asked him after he got it if he had it sold but he insisted that it was going for scrap. I do not think a set of plow like these would weight much over a ton to a ton and a half.

A little while later he bid a set of four bottom mounted plows up to $350 and got them. The where an old set of IH plows that where shot.
