After a very successful 6 day run, our stage production of rural life in the 1960s is finished. Almost a full house every show, with a standing ovation every time. It sure was a lot of fun depicting a past lifestyle and ' reincarnating' some of the characters of that time. Maybe even a few YTers had the chance to see it. There is already talk and planning for
Kingsbridge the Musical sequel number three!
See you next year!

I enjoy live theater, used to go quite often.

There is a theater a few miles south in a small town, Plaza Theater. They were very talented, got a lot of recognition from the press.

I prefer the comedies, they do a Christmas special, Smoke on the Mountain, about a traveling evangelist and group of misfit musicians, set back in the '40's. Hilarious!

But, they outgrew their little theater in the round, bought a bigger place. Haven't been since they moved.

Along with the move the price went up to $25 a seat! Guess they didn't want my type there afterall...

(quoted from post at 19:16:27 06/24/18) I was in the original performance about the 60's we had a run of about 10 years as well as I remember, cast of millions.

I was in that performance.
