Ford f150 Pickup

I've got a F150 hired for when I'm over on vacation in a couple of months time. Can anyone tell me how wide the tailgate opening is and how much width there is inside the bed? I'm trying to figure out what's the max I can get into the back. I know you guys will know.
Thanks
Bill

It's just a hair over 4' between the wheel wells, making the tailgate close to 5'. Now how much you can put in, well that depends on the depth of the bed. They come in 5.5', 6.5' and 8'.

I would search the manufactures website for the specifications.

Maybe the brochure will have specifications.

The height of the sides are about 18 inches. A F150 is listed as a half ton truck which means it carry about 1000 Lb., Actually will carry a little more but the truck is comfortable with that amount.

Depending on the year this is the payload spec for a 2015
