While walking in the backyard in nj,,this guy was watching me.

He kept stairing at this slow moving old fat guy

Ihope hes not swooping down to pick me apart!

We had that happen in AZ once, out hiking and stopped to rest, soon my son said "Better get moving dad, the vultures are circling," and he was right!

Driving a couple of days ago you can see a couple or five vultures.
How about thirty or more at one time. Looked like a sceen out of a bad
spaghetti western. A whole circling cloud of them. Have no idea what
was going on with them.

My son and I are putting up a 12x16 building using old lumber out behind his shop. I looked up and saw 2 buzzards circling. I said Nathan , we better speed up.

These are in my back yard. There is a communication tower down the street from me, and I counted 56 of them on there a couple years ago.

I'm betting that unlike the vultures in the western movies, yours weren't screeching. Anybody ever hear a buzzard make a sound, either circling or on the ground?

Be glad they didn't land on your roof.
Have you ever heard the tale that if they're on your roof then death is imminent in the house.
This was the fact indeed several years ago in our neighborhood when an elderly lady was passing away there were buzzards on her barn roof just hours prior.
