I-H suitcase weights

Does anyone on here know if there's a market for a few dozen I-H suitcase weights?
The farm we're cleaning up seems to have stashes of them everywhere and it won't be long 'til we bring in the scrap roll offs and start loading them up.

theres a huge market for them.75 lbs weights are 100 to 115 dollars each, the 100 lbs weights are 85 to 100 dollars each.very easy to sell them.best place to advertise is where tractor pullers frequent...facebook,or the pulloff

I'm about 40 miles North of Harrisburg. Straight up the Susquehanna river near Sunbury.

There sure is a market for them. When scrap prices topped out, seems all agri. products' prices sky
rocketed. Now that scrap is down, the other prices are still way high? 15 yrs ago I could have had
a 3-row corn planter made for under $300/row , now you'd be lucky to get one under $1000/row(well
built ones).I think the market for weights is quite the same? That being said, I'm in eastern Pa.&
will be waiting to see what you plan on doing with them? Jeff

Place an ad in the Lancaster Farming paper in the price range 88-1175 referenced and you will move them. Should easily pay for the rolloffs you need to haul away all the
junk......

going rate here in west MN is about 100 each if they have the raised IH cast into them, bout 6 without.

Should be about 65 without the raised lettering.

Just this past summer I bought 8 75 lb. IH weights and a 10 hole bracket for $520 at auction. Guess it all depends on the day. See many listed on Craigs list all the time. Asking price is from $75 on up. Some move and the higher price ones seem to sit. 75 lb. ones seem to be more expensive than the 100 lb. ones.

Just about any wheel weights will bring a $1 a pound just about anytime. Even odd ball off brands will bring 50 cents/pound. Scrap right now is under 10 cents a pound. Not too hard to figure out to not sell them for scrap at anytime.

No seriously, I really did know that I shouldn't sell them for scrap, that wasn't my reason for posting.

I also know that packing up and shipping a ton of weights, as well as selling them, and collecting the payment very well might outweigh (pun intended) the money I'd put in the boss' coffers.

Count up how many you have of each size. find a local equipment jockey and offer him a deal on the whole lot.

Send me an email see if we can make a deal I'll pick the weights up and gather them up where they are located and pay cash no expense to you or your boss.Would
like a rough estimate of how many you have I'm a little over 200 miles from you not a big trip for me.
