Massey Harris 33 diesel

Thinking about selling my Massey Harris 33 diesel, it was my dads tractor and has been sitting in a shed for quite a few years. Not sure what to ask for it, needs to be restored. The tag is hard to read.

Post a few more pictures. Those are a rare bird, but engine parts specific to the
diesel are hard to find. I have seen 33 diesels advertised for sale with a 44
Diesel engine, so one like yours would be valuable indeed, with only a couple
hundred made. At one time a good runner was around 7000, but they have backed off
since. What condition is it in and where is it?
We had one years ago, row crop, wide front, LPTO, 3 pt.,.....

I have a 33D still in works clothes, wide front, three point, and LPTO option. Whatever you do, if it's been setting more than a year without running DON'T turn the engine. I'll bet the injection pump plunger WILL be stuck, and just turning the engine will break the plunger, and no hydraulic heads are available anymore. Best remove the pump as is, where is, meaning DON'T set the timing either! Then maybe it can be saved before it gets broken..

I?d do some research before putting a price on it. If you could
post a video of a walk around showing as much of the tractor
as you can someone on here might better be able to give you
a value. Others are right,we have a 333D and it?s rare ,a 33D
is VERY rare.

It ran when I parked it years ago. Its a narrow front. It needs a starter, tires, paint. I don't have the lever for the live pto, my dad use to cultivate with this tractor and that lever was in the way for the lift. I don't have the rear lift bracket that was for the cultivator. It has cast rear wheels. Currently it's tucked away in a corner of my shed in Iowa with a couple of B John Deere's and a 1970's Dodge pickup cab among other things that I need to move around if I were to do a walk around video, shed is packed tight for winter.

The first photo are casting numbers by the clutch pedal on the transmission, the second photo are casting numbers on the right lower side of the engine block.
