Get my tractor running.

She doesn't think that your tractor is se*y except when you are chugging along. So don't accelerate!!

We are here to help. We need to know (picture will help) what we are discussing. If you have no wrenching or screw
drivering experience, the best answer may not be what to do with those, it may be Where are you located so one of us
close can make a on site visit to get you started toward this endeavor. Jim

Setting while running hold the brakes; put it in gear and let out the clutch a little bit slowly and have someone watch to see if the governor rod that is connected to the
carburetor moves to increase the the engine speed. If not, the governor is not working properly.

(quoted from post at 12:29:59 04/05/19) It starts and then dies out after i accelerate.

Sounds like number one and number three piston have carbon buildup. It's actually catching on fire and filling the cylinders with smoke. After it dies remove those two spark plugs. Smoke should shoot out like a mushroom cloud. There are various fixes for this, best to consult an almanac.

Next, the tires. Someone has filled them with Concrete. Need four new tires, hold the concrete.

How much do you weigh? Some tractors can't handle extremely heavy operators. Are you eating some greens with each meal? Cut down on the carbs. Have water with your meal instead of a sweetened soft drink. Try a piece of fruit for dessert.

Next, what color is your tractor? This will have a big effect on what kind of repair is needed. For example, my tractor is red but I'm not sure it was always red. So when I do any repairs I have to consult different color charts. It's easy to get them mixed up.

It's also likely someone has stuffed a potato in the exhaust. Tractor will start because the irregular lumps are letting just enough exhaust get by. Try to accelerate though and the potato is holding things up. Try a smaller potato.

Well, I've killed about 15 minutes on a Friday night. Others here can help you if you tell them what kind of machine you're working on.
