What's that green stuff on the ground?

It hit 70º in ND for the first time in six months, and I've forgotten!

After you get the husks off of black walnuts, let them dry for a few days then tumble them in the mixer to remove more crud.

My mixer is old enough to draw SS. It's
one thing I don't use often, but I'll
never be without it. All I buy is
Portland cement. Abandon gravel pit has
all the sand and gravel I'll ever use.

Its pine pollen season here every thing is yeller and looks like a dust storm outside :(... We go straight from heat to AC just like that its the only reason I have AC in the shop to keep the pine pollen out... And those 95/to 100 degree days I just can not take the heat like I use to...

I've got an ancient freeby mixer, rescued from the scrap pile.

It had a 2hp Briggs when I got it. It ran, but was geared way too fast, couldn't use it even at idle.

I found a gear reduction electric motor with a variable speed pulley. Mounted it so I could control the speed. Works well!

Don't use it often, but sure comes in handy when needed.

I have two of them. One was used for mixing mortar for a stone mason, the second is a 1/3rd yard job like yours (older). The first one separates at the drum and the base comes apart into 2 pieces for easy transport. The other one is REAL heavy. Haven't used either in years, BUT they both still work - plugged them in about a week ago. Got a young guy interested - he can HAVE them ! ;^)

we fixed a bad section of my sidewalk 2 years ago with my mixer. it is heavy enough that I use the skid steer forks to move it.

The city where I work when people call them asking what to do with old appliances or what not and they give them my number. I pick it up and haul for scrap when I get enough. One lady called me last year and asked if I wanted an old cement mixer and I said sure. Well when I got there she told me she had found another one that she had forgot about in the weeds while cleaning up. Her husband was into masonry before he died. After I pulled them out of the weeds with my tractor one was heavy duty with a stuck Honda engine that had a rotted off tarp over it and the other one was smaller with a stuck electric motor on it. I couldn't bring myself to scrap them they are under my shed waiting for me to work on!

Good I.D. on the splash/ramp gizmo. How does the wire screen work...

The mixer I has says its 3.5 cubic feet "wow" I could not bring myself to put that much in it..

Local mechanic has one he uses for cleaning up parts. Puts in a bag of sand blasting sand and throws in nuts bolts and other parts that are less than a foot long. Comes back in an hour or two and they are all cleaned up and ready for paint or primer. Tom

I put an AC WD gas tank mount on mine...attach the tank, throw some nuts and bolts into the tank, and clean the tank interior.
