Chrysler Gurus...........

Does anyone know where ground wires would be in the wiring on an '07 Chrysler T&C? Just glancing around under the hood, I didn't see any.

It's doing strange things that lead me to believe there's a loose/bad ground connection somewhere.

The tire light will flash and a message "Service Tire System Soon" will show on the display at random and then go away. Also, the ABS light is on and no ABS codes are set. When I started up a bit ago, a message "Message System Not Activated" came on for a few seconds. Whatever the heck that meant. I'd never seen that one before. Sometimes if you drive in rain, or go through a carwash, it will set a code for the ambient air temp sensor. Then if you erase the code, that won't show up again until things get damp again.

It's gotten so I carry an OBDII scanner in the vehicle.

I had an Olds 88 doing outright bizarre things one, and it turned out to be a loose ground inside the left fender.

I heard that that Dodge had trouble with a ground on the back of the dash control board but do not remember exactly where it is located, sorry.

call dodge dave at tyser repair in dorchester; he about the biggest dodge mechanic around. i use him on all my dodge's

There are grounds all over, but under the hood there is one right by the PCM under hood, another at the bellhousing where the starter mounts, and also one under the driver side headlamp, all of them are somewhat hard to see. The ambient temp sensor harness is near this ground, the sensor in on the lower rad/core support near the center.

The ABS module uses the ground near the PCM, the TPMS/Sentry module uses the ground under the left side of the dash, by the body control module. Don't forget the negative cable at the battery also has a major ground along with the battery cab behind trim kick/panel.

You have a gen 4. I've had real good luck at chryslerminivandotnet if you need more info than 4play gave you...

You need a battery , the voltage is down
may still start the vehicle but the battery is weak
do a battery test .

i had trouble on our 2003 T&C. a critter had chewed a wire in the harness under the battery. spliced back together and no issues.

also had the PCM go bad. luckily found one in an identical van in the junk yard. there are many versions of those depending on your year and options so i was very lucky.

as others have mentioned battery voltage can goof up alot of stuff especially in the computers.

try AllPAR.com. to to tech help and support, get a user name and post your issues with details on what its doing and what you've tried.

Maybe this will help.

Thanks, Tom.

I may try him. This morning, I intend to talk to the fellow at Subway in Milford. He's sharp on Chryslers. A couple of years ago, this same vehicle began making weird noises in the rear A/C. Nobody even at the dealers in Lincoln had heard of it before.

The fellow at Subway listened to it and said, "Rear expansion valve". And he was right.

Check the TPMS at 12 years old the battery's in the sensors are worn out way out 7 to 10 years is the normal life span... Yes it will flag the ABS and turn it off...

You are making this to hard....
