Pollen fog

I hope my neighbors do not have allergies as I have 50 acres of rye that is shedding pollen today. It looks like fog rolling off the fields with the breeze. It is a big cloud. I hope that means a good seed crop. Tom

With all the water this year we have a mosquito and gnat fog....

I live in a small mountain valley, mountain rises about 1100 feet in front of my place. There frequently are little twisters that come down the mountain during thunderstorms. One spring about this time a quick thunderstorm front popped over the top and I saw a 'pollen tornado' coming down into the valley. Amazing to see.
