I sold a case 310 crawler to a fellow who just buys case 310 crawlers. nothing else just those. he said he had over 25 of them. personally I like allis h4 crawlers. anyone else just collect certain pieces of equipment.

Collect anything made by JI Case. 40 plows 20 combines 90 tractors Multiple tillage tools(disk, field cultivators, silage choppers, balers, corn pickers, loaders, blades, lawn garden tractors, feed grinders) if Case made it we have most of it represented and crawlers.

I'm a J I Case guy. As far as collecting it if it isn't Case I walk right past it. I like the small stuff. In fact I like the stuff that doesn't have a engine. I have a complete collection of Case pedal tractors from 1954 - 1987 with all of the four different pedal tractor trailers as well as a pedal tractor umbrella. All displayed on a trailer that I pull to shows. I like Case things that are cast iron. Planter plates, Wrenches, Tool box lids, Seats, Oilers, Hub caps, Grain drill ends, Smoke box doors. I've also been chasing Case printer plates. The Type Set kind used in printing old newspaper ads. I have 244 Case watch fobs. No two are the same. Oh & Case walking plows. I usually bring them home with me if I see them on a sale. I like Case paper stuff to if it is old. The newer stuff doesn't interest me much. I've got hundreds of Case post cards as long as the have a stamp on them with a postage stamped date.

I prefer IHC because that's what Dad and Grandad had and Grandad's brother
had an IHC dealership for many years. However, if something unique shows up
(Cletrac w/loader, Deere MT and 40C, A/C Rotobaler, unknown brand of 3 dented tube grain
cleaner mounted on steel wheels, just to name a few), it just might follow me home.

I collect what I need to run my business and farm with and if it just happens to be John Deere I?m even happier

The majority of our equipment, at one time or another, was green and yellow.

I collect case of course, but I'm a little different in that mine is to use, not just have. My goal is to farm the entire farm with just case equipment.

Those old case grain carts would be about useless around here except for during cutting wheat in the summer. Those small tires would be stuck in the mud all fall.
Other wise nice collection of case equipment.

Those were not marketed as grain carts, they are feed wagons. The most desirable have a feed grinder on the end. They can be set up to pull from either end. You grind into them, set the unload auger straight up so it dumps into the rank and let it run to mix the feed. They did double duty as grain carts tho.

Growing up my uncle had JD 2 cyl. and then newer models too. I pretty much have all JD stuff. If I grew up on a different color I suspect the outcome would have been different.

Jon I like the loader on your DC do you know where there might be another? I would like to mount one on mine.

That is a Paulson loader and they are very popular around me. Craig's list has a bunch most times. You won't likely find DC mounts, I adapted mine.

I grew up on Fords and that's what I have today.
Don't consider myself a collector as most are used in our farm operation, but I do have more than I really need.
