Bobcat 853 value with blown engine

So I just got a call from a guy asking me what I thought a 853 with a blown diesel engine was worth. Said he found one and the guy wants $2000 for it as is. So to me that sound high to me. So am I right.

I have an 853 that I have put 3500 hrs on. I love the machine and have had very few problems. That machine is getting old and .although my machine is maintained very well is maybe only worth 7500.
Now for the bad part, which engine does it have in it? If it has the isuzu, like mine it is a bear to work on. That is not just my experience, but I have had 2 different bobcat service techs tell me the same. Soooo, I like you agree $2000 is high.

I've seen skid loaders with bad engines bring over $1500 at auctions,seems like everyone wants a skid loader.
